NE area wheeling trip plans

A bunch of places are. I'm excited . Bring on the ice fishing

Yeah I did a run up there last year by myself in late December. Perfect time too, just a little less than a foot of snow on the ground. It was F*ing cold as shit that day tho so I didnt camp.. or really even get out of the truck for that matter Just cannonballed up and back. Roughly 12-13 hours round trip from Bangor. Think it was -5°F or something when I left Bangor.. High was only 2 or 3°F or something.

Yup. The mountains are already getting snow. Wont be too much longer before it starts to accumulate on the ground up in The County.

Yea i heard Rangeley is getting snow and,my camp is a half hour northwest from Rangeley and a half hour west from Sugarloaf

 

I've done the RI spot with a 3" lift, stock skids, and n-fab steps. I've lightly bashed the skids and steps. Usually get a few more pin stripes each trip.

 

I would love to go with you the next time you want to go.

 

Are you serious? It's public land anyone can go there. Introduced the group, to that place years ago it pretty clapped out.

Camp out there with a Honda Oddessy, it's really easy now that the power lines are gravel. Most of the roads leading out there have had heavy equipment on them.

Everyone knows about the ri spot it's not a hidden gem.

 

Not saying it's a hidden gem, but on a public forum where literally anyone, member or not, can see is stupid. That's why places get shut down. There is already a big enough issue with littering down there as is

 

Ok ok well that is more understandable. Edit the post so the location is gone. I fixed it.

 

We have reasons why we don't disclose trail locations on a public forum. If in your 10 years of off roading you haven't learned why then you will likely never learn.

 

Good reasons yes. sadly I posted the spot in the bs thread 7 years ago. We all met up and went out there.

 

Glocester is pretty mild--only a couple of slightly challenging features lots of opportunity to pinstripe, still a kinda fun close playground if you're in the central MA/NE CT/NW RI area

 

I'm down for another rhode island spot run, been itching for some trail time.

Any talk of any other trips going on anytime soon you know of? I always miss the ENH signups because they fill up in .02 seconds!
