looking for 01 thru 04 Master power window switch.

Looking for 01 thru 04 drivers power window switch king cab(any color but tan(oak)) Passenger side switch as well.Thx for your time.

You can unscrew the trim from your old one

 

I have a spare passenger side. I sold the driver side already.

 

You can reuse your old trim my man. It’s two screws.

 

I'm installing 01 door panels in my 2000,they be way different boss.

 

Ah. 4Runner trim will work too then.

Just keep in mind the speaker size is different, so you'll have to cut a lot of the speaker baffle. I put 2004 double cab door panels in my 1998.

 

Yep yep....6 1/2 vs 5x7 I be learning as i go.........something new everyday,that's my motto.

 

Why you changing the door panels?

 

I find them very poorly engineered and unappealing to look at compared to the 01 and up.My personal preference.....don't mind me.

 

Oh I agree, I love the 2001-2004 door panels. So much more ergonomic. Very happy with mine.

I had crank windows at one point. I converter to power windows, mirrors, and locks.

 

Keep in mind the passenger side 4runner lock switch is different. Driver side is the same. Limited 4runners had auto up/down driver and passenger windows, so thats even another difference you have to watch out for.

 

I know, just the switch trim. I used 4Runner switch trim in my truck.

 

Nope, passenger side is different. The physical switch for the lock is skinnier and matches the 01-04 driver side lock switch. Maybe earlier 4runners had the wider lock switch, but I’m not sure. Look at post 3 and notice that the passenger lock switch is wider than the driver side.

 

Huh, guess you're right. I guess only the driver's side then.

 

Are you saying that a certain year 4 runner window switch plate is the same as the later designed 01-04 Tacoma window switch plate opening? Both passenger and drivers side,only the switches might be different?

 

Driver's side should be the same, passenger side will be different.
