What brand tires? Did you remove the mudflaps due to rubbing or preference? I’m afraid if I go with the Duratracs / cooper and have to remove the mudflaps it will throw up too rocks and chip the paint to much...

Hooked up my Baja Designs S8 backlight to my DRL tonight.

Is there much difference between the two?

 

They're toyo open country at2, and I removed them because they rubbed a little. The size you mentioned should be small enough that you could leave the mudflaps, but I can't confirm that. They do make aftermarket mudflaps that will clear tires the size that I have.

Sorry to hear about this situation. It took me over a year and a half to get my set. Went through the exact same situation. One of mine has a seal issue so I’m going to have to take it apart and reseal it. I’m currently waiting for the updated new DRLs that the retrofit source will be coming out with soon. I’m going to exchange my RGB for RGBW DRLs and I might as well do it all at the same time. That second pic you have posted looks like my headlight
