What have you done to your Tacoma today? 1st Gen Edition

Welp time to move on.

 

I ordered parts for a 96 not even five days ago, you sure you're using it right?

 

I don't order parts from them but their catalogs do go back further than 2006.

 

Looks like their site is down now but it definitely goes back further unless they have changed it in the last day or two.

 

Do you smoke? That will make the dust stick really bad.

Well shit... I've been on Camelback 4 or 5 times this past week and all it would give me was through 06... Now, we're talking about it after I dropped 100 bucks at my local dealer... and now it gives me options back as far as I want to go.

Maybe their site was f'd up. Or maybe I was. But I'm doing the same thing I was doing every other time I checked it. wtf?

I parted ways with my 1st Gen Tacoma. I picked up a Tundra. So I have a 5VZ-FE motor in my garage needing a new home with additional parts that I was planning to put in. I have it posted in the 1st gen parts classifieds with pictures.

 

Ya, and the drop down menu to get to the accesories page is where I clicked >OEM Parts< and it took me to the accessories page.

 

If you click on "Parts Catalog" it takes you to the accessories page as well. All the other links take me where they're supposed to. Not sure what to tell ya.

 

When you click parts catalog there is a drop down menu with three choices
Toyota Accessories
TRD Performance
OEM parts

Since Saturday, I was clicking OEM Parts. And the only page it would take me to was apperantly the Toyota Accessories page.

Now, tonight... It actually takes me to the OEM parts menu page that goes back through 1980.

 

Ah, I see. I thought it was happening to you right now.

 

Nope... now that I already ordered the parts (and got ass raped) at the local stealership on Saturday, and I picked up the parts today... now I can get the OEM Parts menu to come up just fine now.

 

You’re searching their accessory catalog, that’s why it only goes to 2006.

Doing a drain and fill this weekend, I ordered the crush gaskets but not fill/drain plugs. I assumed they’d be reusable, should I have ordered the plugs too?
