I’m not too worried about reliability here, I’m more concerned of the longevity and safety of the unit.

I don’t know if I trust Harbor Freight electronics yet. But that’s just me. Someone prove me wrong.

Want to make one look pretty and add in some wires. But don’t want to potentially ruin my harness and be stuck, new ones are NLA

 

Ask painless if they wanna make stock 2001 tacoma harness and go send them yours if they say yes lol

 

I emailed them about one for a 4.7L from a tundra, I didn't get one back. But that's different than stock the plugs are different then the tacoma so I had a slim chance of getting it lol

That is an insane good deal. I paid $350 for mine, and the average asking price is $300-$400.

 

Incorrect. “Differential Carrier” is what Toyota refers to the Front Differential as.

For example, “3rd Member” is synonymous with “Rear Differential”.

 

I think that might be the most interesting car I’ve seen for sale on Nextdoor. It’s usully like a 1997 Toyota Camry, or a 2003 Mercury Marauder.
