Awesome. Looking to get my lift done too. How much did you end up paying?

@KTJO 4x4 I know you had to wait a while too. Those were some sample pics he sent me. I don't know if he ever sent me a pic of my real set except maybe for the TRD decal on sides.

I really do want to give him the benefit of the doubt, but this is getting beyond frustrating.

I'll gladly edit my post if he would send me the lights or refund me my money.

Finally got around to debadging the chrome around the truck and then applying new blacked out emblems on the areas I wanted to keep.

The rear is now blank with the exception of the raised tailgate inserts:

The driver/pass door "Tacoma" is now blacked out.

    dfgh.jpg

And While I didn't add these knobs today, I did finally get a picture of 'em!

Sorry. That was @Paint it Black that posted the lift being done. He could probably tell you what he paid. I have used Jason (@Speed Freek) for various repairs and installs but don’t recall the exact amount I paid. He typically charges by the hour and his prices are fair. His work is meticulous and he treats your truck like it’s his own. Couldn’t say enough good things about him.

Totally understand! Well if he does send them to you, I’ll be excited to see what you came up with. I love mine other than the small little issue. They are pretty badass

The 16 had more bells and whistles (sunroof, heated seats....) but the new one has more safety features (lane departure alert, radar cruise control...) Otherwise, pretty much the same ride. Love the color more!

Agreed. For the most part this is supposed to be the final touch of my mods.

Update. He did text me last pm and said he’d look into it. I’m hopeful he just got overwhelmed. I’ll be happy to update my original post if I get lights soon

That looks like a profesional photo from a magazine ad or Tacoma brochure at the dealership. Nice photography.

Thanks! Yeah I missed owning a truck about 3 weeks ago something awful. Hey I can tell positive differences between the '16 SR5 and this '19 SR. Door seals I noticed right off and the door take a little more push or pull to close them. Wondering if the lack of back seats and the finished look, (rear cab panel) renders those cab vents useless. This ride, (road noise) is quieter also. Thinking I may of got a good one this time. :)

Also there will be a big recall in November on the 2017 - '18 Honda CR-V. (Gas in the engine oil) also the heat does not work very good in them, that will be part of the recall also.
