I’ve been gone a week and still no 1.05

Keep working on it for another week, I’ll settle for 11/1 release

Personally I think releasing the MT file first would make the AT file better. You can sort out the engine first, then figure out the slush box. Seems logical to me anyway :notsure:

You would think so, but it's not actually that simple from what we've experienced so far. Mat of course knows all, and WRT to the differences in the coding only he could tell you that.

Additionally, throttle weirdness has a HUGE effect on M/T driveability IMHO. Now, not all of us have had issues with it (* cough @mZiggy ).. but some have. I suspect that A/T owners wouldn't care as much, for obvious reasons.

If my throttle isn't consistent, or is laggy, well.. that's not too good for rev matching. It's also not good when taking off on a steep incline.

Tip in is another good example. I do want my throttle to be responsive, but not overly super twitchy. It makes driving at low speed more of a bitch. There are others that love the twitch lol.

Anyway, TL;DR version - engine programming that works well on the auto doesn't always work out as good on the manual. I guess that's why Mat also has feedback and logs from 1.05 M/T testers.

Yeah I figured there was a difference however it wasn't anything too major. Driving style plays a big part in it. I've always got better mileage with my manual vehicles. Wonder if Mat ever gets logs from manual vehicles and thinks "They should get an automatic."

Oh for sure, and there are lots of ppl out there still running their factory original calibrations and are probably happy as a clam! That's ok too, less stress in their lives lol.

@OVTune I'm in Colorado Springs, 6000 feet. I am bone stock, running 1.04, but not sure what ECU version I have. My truck is a 2016 OR M/T.

I agree with this and I’m a AT owner. Who cares who gets what first as long as we all get it. If you had our version ready now, I’d want it too. Go for it and the rest of us AT owners can wait our turn. Not a big deal

If the MT tune is ready for release, let it loose Mat.

You have 3 or so people testing MT, send it to the other 7 MT tune customers and you are done :boink:
