You have the skills to EARN the money to afford to pay someone to build it...that's still winning sir

How does this do off-road? We have some favorite camping spots in Colorado that require water crossings and a locking rear diff, and I'm curious if pulling a trailer is realistic for slightly more technical driving.

    No photo.
Picture this. 4 days at Linville Gorge with the 'Gorge Rats'. Hiked the Rock Jock trail. Got the 'Gorge Tattoos' on my arms.
No hammock this time, I spent the 3 nights in the truck with my WM Versalite 10°.

It does great off road. It might not be obvious from the pictures, but I did ditch the stock trailer suspension and replaced it with Jeep CJ-7 leaf springs, a 2" lift shackle and added shocks. Basically, the trailer is running the entire rear suspension setup of a CJ-7...so it that helps relate how well it handles the terrain. Add to that my off road Lock-N-Roll hitch and the trailer will follow us nearly anywhere the Tacoma is able to go.

I haven't had it anywhere where I've needed to use my locker (but I've also never needed my locker in Colorado, yet), but several places where I'm in 4LO and picking multiple lines to successfully traverse the terrain, and it's followed just fine. We've dragged it across water crossings, up/down super steep and loose surfaces, through some hairpin switchbacks, across V shaped washouts, etc. Pulling it off road will have it's understandable limitations though.

I've gotta do a better job of snapping pictures/videos of it in some rough terrain to help show it. This is the best I have for now, nothing impressive by any means:

I'm not pulling the trailer in the video, but I did tow it up the steep, rocky trail initially. Hard to tell from the video how steep it is, but it was steep enough that if I lost a little traction going over a notable rock, the truck would slide back a few inches.

Love those tall skinny tires it has. What suspension is it running, axle-less?
