Good move! Saves you wear and tear on your summer wheels from mounting and unmounting, alot more convenient as well. Did the same thing only I went with Blizzaks on stock steel wheels and love em. Best tires I've ever put on for winter driving. Just have to change them back before the weather warms so you don't wear them out prematurely. Very soft rubber but that's what makes them stick so well.

I allowed the dealer's badge to be put on my truck this time. But all my trucks before I tell the salesman to pass on the word not to put them on my paint. I tell them the license plate frames are fine and usually take those off once I get home. I always checked to see if they put a sticker on my truck before I sign on the dotted line and hand over the check. They will take it off to get my money. LOL!

My 2004 & My 2005. I rolled the 05 and the 04 had a rotted frame and missed the recall. Idiots, not me...although, I was the idiot for buying with a “fixed frame” and thinking the frame was good. Lesson learned the 18 should be good to go for awhile!

They sure are! Still concerned about rust, but wanted something pretty tough so I can be a little more comfortable when I get out to the trails (careless and, potentially, abusive).

Sure thing. It's not like the entire tread was peeling off, but this isn't what the stock tire for the "off road" trim of a truck should look like after only 5,000 miles

I see a couple of chunks missing. Not to terrible otherwise IMO. Perhaps you drove over some pretty serious terrain?

Received the last part of my suspension setup today with the arrival of these BAMF hangers and shackles. @JLee, these things are BEEFY and heavy. My girlfriend had a fun encounter with the UPS gentleman when he asked her to sign for them and she said, "Oh, I'm not Alex, I just have to deal with his heavy packages."

So I've got that goin' for me I guess.

Nice looking Tacoma, congrats! The 265/70 will work without a lift. I would suggest you consider the BFGs KO2s with the white letters out, would look really nice!

Not the worst, sure, but I counted 25+ spots like the pictures I posted. Luckily the customer rep totally agreed that it shouldn't be "chunking" out the way it was. It's not like I spent the past three months rock crawling through Moab, but I did get after it on a few rocky trails in Colorado and Wyoming. If this is what the tires looked like after 3 months of use, I'd hate to see them after a couple of years. The tires might be awesome for pavement and some gravel, but I bought the Off Road version for a reason.
