Columbia used to be the high end area until Baltimore sent a bunch of section 8 there.

Ok wait, do the Fluid Film spray cans have the little white stem coming out or is it just a hole and that stem fits into the hole? Not over the stem? Shit, sorry to bug you about this.

    I'm answering my own questions.

Definitely looks like that goes into the hole on the can. Not over the white stem. That entire red nozzle and stem come out.

Ok, so I was talking to a buddy of mine that build planes. Not models. LOL

    I showed him this picture

    upload_2018-10-24_15-5-12.jpg

Naturally I saw more on the paper so I thought that was a good thing, then the guy that posted these posted the next pic that he took a day later

    2018-10-24.jpg

And when I showed this to my buddy he said he would definitely select the product on the left. He said in the aviation industry that is called Creep. It is preferred because that product will find it's way more easily into nooks and crannies and cracks and crevices and behind washers etc.

So now I am looking at Fluid Film in the gallon and will look at a tool I can hook up to my compressor so I can do this like a Pro!

No, he was referring to the process of the oil dispersing, moving over time into areas that you don't necessarily spray it on.

He uses a product called Corrosion X http://www.corrosionx.com/

And says he uses it on everything from planes to HF tools that aren't the highest quality metals or finishes.

    It's not cheap though.

How much is a gallon of Fluid Film?

Yea, the gallon is twice as much but then again we are talking about air planes. I think when you get into the six $$$$$$ figure bracket for something in the air twice as much is not an issue. LOL

Based on price and those photos of the Creep I am going with Fluid Film too. I will be buying a gallon though. I am looking at this tool to apply it.

    https://www.amazon.com/dp/B002KVD2U...&pd_rd_r=e9ef3ef8-d7d0-11e8-8f8d-3f9a1c609712

Figured I'd buy the gun once and then save on buying gallons of the liquid. I will want to do this every year and make it as easy as possible for my old ass.

Sadly that can be said for a lot of places. Ellicott City is now a sanctuary city. I pay A LOT of money to live here, total BS that the Howard Country schools, top 3 in the country, are now at 115%-120% because some bleeding heart liberal POS thought it would be a good idea to welcome illegals here.
