Unfortunately I'm not the trend setter. I recall someone saying "we have a new Phil"... Sorry Phil for stealing your glory.

Trying finalize the Friday morning meetup time and location in Madera. Since this isn't a day trip, we don't necessarily have to meet at the crack of dawn. However, I'd like it to be early enough to allow for a stop for fuel and time to find a camp site large enough to accommodate everyone by noon, 1 at the latest.

I propose meeting at Starbucks or McDonalds in Madera at 8:30 and get back on the road at 9:00. That would put us at Cressman's at around 10-ish. 20-30 minutes to fuel up, maybe grab some last-minute items from the store, and head out. Rock Creek Road is about 25 minutes up the road.

    Thoughts?

Jason looks like I won't be able to make it this time. Just bought my ticket. I will be traveling out of country from 2nd to 13th. :annoyed:

No worries, Karan. I'm thinking about going again in the late spring after the trails open up in May.

My father-in-law hasn't been doing too good and had a stroke. Plus, my brother-in-law is getting married so I will be going to India for about 10 days. I will see you on next trip.

I’ve been checking this thread daily thinking to myself “when’s he gonna finalize the meeting location” ?
Lol I’m juiced to get out there I don’t care where we meet!

I will have been recently moved to the South Bay, but my girl didn’t wanna stay in our new spot alone being out in the sticks, and bringing her and my daughter was not an option due to how cold it will get, so had to book them a flight to SoCal for the weekend.

Anyone leaving Friday morning and driving through 152 wanna caravan to Madera?

    The usual
The 8:30am at the Starbucks sounds good. I'll be taking Grant Line to 99 if anyone is going that way wants to join.

I'm leaving from Fremont so going via 580 or 152 is about the same for me (just a few minutes difference). Where and when do you want to meet up?
