Do you have to set up an appointment with a Toyota tech dude or can you just walk in?

How much would it cost to make a dude sit in my truck and listen to a noise?

 

You should make an appointment but you don't have to request a tech to ride a long in advance, at least I've never had to in the past. They'd usually just have one jump in and sit shotgun with me if they have a guy available.

 

All they’d have to do is listen to it in park and then in gear from the cab, no need to drive anywhere haha.

Mine wont charge for a diagnostic. But you cant ride with a tech unless they drive it first and cant hear the problem. Then you can request it.

 

We wouldn’t really have to drive, only just have to put it in gear.

 

I did the same thing today. The service advisor looked like she didnt know a thing about what I was talking about. Called back 2 hours saying the tech couldnt replicate the issue. I went down there and met with the tech, and sat in the parking lot for 10 mins talking to him. My issue is gone just by itself thankfully.

 

I’ll call em up one of these days.

Well I killed a brand new SKF center support bearing in one trip lol. That's what my noise ended up being. I think I'm gonna buy one of those Ford poly mounted center bearings this time.

 

The new whip till i get a van. This thing is so slow and thr tranny is even slower. And also now ik why guys hate factory bench seats.

 

Idek what it has. But its pathetic.

 

Should be a fiver looks like the right year range. Ah yes the Isuzu 2.8 5 cyl inline.

 

I can go pop the hood. I think this year range came with a 4cyl, 5cyl and 8cyl
