    ill let you decide.
I’m not too familiar with the area yet.
Or I can look a little later tonight for prospective meet up locations once I get on a larger screen.
Somewhere along the 101 I’d imagine.

sounds good or if you're good with it, can meet at the starbucks (6865 Camino Arroyo, Gilroy, CA 95020) or the shell right there at 101 and 152. Looks like its about a 1hr 41min drive to the Madera Starbucks. Figure meet up at 6:30am and roll out by 6:45am?

Sacramento area guys can meet at the BP on Grant Line around 6:15. A little less than 2 hours to Madera from there.

Are you guys going to stop in Prather as well? There’s two gas station, dollar general, restaurants, and a grocery store on Auberry and 168. If not I understand. I can always meet in Madera. I’ll see if any of the local guys (559Yotas) would like to go as well.

Wasn't planning on it unless we need to. I thought about stopping there at first only because that's where we stopped the last time I went. As far as fuel is concerned, I can make all the way to Shaver. That's why I have Cressman's as a fuel stop. I figured filling up as close to the final destination was better. That doesn't mean we won't stop anywhere else along the way. The schedule isn't that rigid, but the sooner we get the sooner we can crack a beer.

Edit: We actually stopped in Friant, not Prather. But the ranger station is in Prather.

Ok I’ll keep checking to see what route everyone is taking. Is there another route to shaver besides the 168 4 lane? I know at the end of the 4 lane there a good size parking area to the right side and a gas station right after the first sharp turn.

Looks like 168 is the most direct. Not sure about the the parking lot and sharp turn. I've only been up there once.

I used to ride up in these areas a lot. Some really nice roads and turns. But that’s another story.

    For everyone else some POI:
Turn out parking and viewing area

Last gas station before you hit the town of Shaver, also cheaper.

Updated the list of possible locations. Removed three that aren't near big enough and added one.
