After 90k miles, the stock 4600 billies were tired. New 5160 should do the trick. 6112s for the front in a few weeks with some UCAs. Haven't decided yet which ones to get

They're not pointing to the ground. They need some adjustment though.

And getting your license is easy. Of course, radio has its own list of mods. I've got 2 mobile radios, 4 antennae, and only 1 truck.

another option for ur plate..couple of mag light wall brackets...mount ur plate and clip it on...I like it because I can pull it quickly when wheeling and it save the plate from damage...(ya I know its a jeep..older toy)

Picked up a Tractor (MF 1240) with trailer today for a smoking deal! I was unsure about the load so I let my father haul it with his 1500 lol. Looking into my options to increase my stability if I were to haul it in the future. But when I did hook it up at the house it didn’t look as bad as I thought! I think the previous owner installed an AAL? Looking into hellwig helpers because I think that is the best option and helps with axle wrap, which the air bags won’t. Also an equalizer hitch is in store given how much they help hauling big campers.

Side note: I added up the weight and from what I can tell this setup weighs 7200lb!! Yikes. And that doesn’t include the grader blade that’s up front, but that was only to get everything home in one trip.

We had Maprika and the paper maps. My copilot, wife, did a good job with those but we were second in a group of 7. It was our first time there and were there as part of the AOAA event. We did greens and I think some blues on the East side.

I hear its pretty easy to get the technician license, just need to find time to read through the study material at least once. I took a practice test online and got a 71% with no prior knowledge so I doubt it will be difficult.

A well balanced trailer and load makes a HUGE difference. Obviously make sure you get trailer brakes and a controller and bags will definitely help. Here is an example of an uneven load. Was barely 4klbs total and the taco struggled. Bad trailer, axle was too far back with way too much tongue weight
Trailer looks even but as you can see the truck is leaning bad

I already have the brake controller so I just need to figure out the rest. I might even get a weigh safe hitch ball with the load indicator so I can keep an eye on tongue weight. Definitely won’t be going more than 15 miles even with all the right kit. It’s a lot on the transmission. But I’ll have a scangauge to watch that anyway

o_O I’m pretty sure that quad is also adding to the lean not just the trailer

Yea, the 300lb quad doesnt help, but the pic doesnt show really how bad it is. Even with no quad and just that trailer it was always bad
