Damn that truck looks good! probably one of my favs on the board ive seen pics of so far. amazing what a set of tires will do.
I have a '17 trd sport, and i have those SR5 16" rims you have. i traded my ugly stock 17" sport rims for them day one after i bought it.
I have always thought these SR5 anthracite rims look awesome and knew theyd look rad with some A/T treads on 'em. Now I know they do! thanks for posting the pics, this makes me stoked for when i can do this. I plan on using the same tires/size

With winter approaching has anyone bought chains for their skinny tires?

I'm on 255/85/R16 Cooper's and I'm having trouble finding chains for that size.

And if you ask I'm planning a winter camping trip in the mountains where I will encounter unplowed roads.

True pizza cutters!! I ran a set of those on my 2015 JK 2dr, they were great on the road and decent for winter, the weight was favourable for rotational mass and gas mileage also. From those i went up to the Toyo open country MT's which suited the jeep better... but that said if these things had a snowflake rating they would be going on my 2018 Tacoma. Hope you like them.

Do you have a welder? Or have access to one? I would recommend you look into making your own chains. It's actually not that hard. As long as you're planning on using them on rural roads and not anywhere with high speed. We have made a few chains for several vehicles before and we always use the same pattern/design.

If you want to, I can try to make and send you a diagram that shows how the design is made and it all connects around your tire.

Has anyone tried running spacers with this setup?

    If so, got pictures?

I might go this route too when the oem tires wear out. The extra ground clearance is more useful than width.

Wow that's not very long. I always ran the BFG AT's and I would get over 40k.
I'm only at 17k so I still have a ways to go.

I've been trying to read through this thread in its entirety, but still cant figure out...has anyone put the tall skinnys on a totally stock PRO? I think it was mentioned they have a slightly different offset than the OR wheels.

Yeah I'm curious as well about spacers on a stock suspension with skinnies. I have a feeling they're gonna rub on the fenders when you turn your wheel.

You have less positive offset than OR wheels. My 4Runner Pro wheels have even less positive offset than yours and I can fit these just fine. Your wheel is between my wheel and OR wheels in terms of positive offset. I don’t see any reason why you couldn’t fit them given those variables.

I was kinda wondering that too if I could fit tall skinny’s with OR wheels and 1” wheel spacers.
