6.5" woofers in 1st gen doors?

    So the TM65mkII just will not go in these doors without custom mounts or cutting a few things. I made one last attempt to mount these today and while the baffles turned out the way I wanted the drivers will not fit into the stock housing.

    But the 6" SEAS U16RCY/P will. :D

    Next to the Flutes that came out - almost identical in size. I even re-used the old baffle as the holes were almost a perfect match!

    These only have a couple hours on 'em so far, but WOW!!! These drivers sound gooooooooooooooood.

    Nice job, thinking of uograding my radio but rather keep my stock radio and only uograupmy speakers.

    Totally do-able. Just try and find something with higher sensitivity. You're only gonna be able to give these slightly north of 10 watts each on head unit power.

    Walmart I think. They had quite the variety. Should be able to get them at Target, etc too.
