Yup. That's a common one. Another is the bilstien 5100's or a hybrid of 5100's with different springs. I'm sure others will chime in.

If you go to the third gen section and select "search this thread " you can look up ome threads specific to your truck

    And welcome to TW!

I’m running the heaviest choices... but you might not need that. Contact Marie @HeadStrong Off-Road (per your link) she will set you up right.

Oh, pay the few bucks to have the front shocks assembled. Install was a piece of cake with a couple buddies but I wouldn’t want to mess with compressing those springs.

    same shit as everyone else
I have the exact same kit. PM @wheelersoffroad for a discount. It rides great and can’t be beat for the price. Rides smoother than the icon stage 3 setup I had before.

    Stock wheels with that lift

    32.5’s on that same lift.

Clean rig, needs sliders and it’d be perfect

Just got mine done a few days ago and just drove it 700km. I got the medium kit/coils and a wheelers 3/8” spacer
Along with the heavy rear dakar pack.
Rides much better, firmer, handles corners better etc.
Added the spacer to keep my height do to my slimline bumper.

Got 2.75” up front and 3” in back and maintained factory rake +/- .25”

Installed it a little over a year ago, along with JBA UCAs & the ECGS bushing. My Tacoma is my daily. I’ve put about 16k miles on since installing the lift.

Only issue I’ve had was squeaky leaf springs, but fixed that by following these instructions:

Absolutely recommend OME setup. Also added Icon UCAs. Had it on for about 6 months of daily driving with no problems.20181021_084741.jpg

Thank you all for the input! The pictures are great. I think I’m going to pull the trigger on this kit.

Sweet truck! Im located in Oregon as well. Did you get your lift professionally installed or did you do it yourself?

I've been happy with my OME lift. I didn't get the full leaf pack, just the HS Add a leaf. Kinda wish I would have just did the full kit now that I added the RTT.

I don’t know very much about trucks but what’s the difference between AAL and a whole new leaf pack performance wise?

The HS 3 leaf AAL utilizes the stock leafs which are known to be weak to begin with vs the full pack which replaces the stock set with much beefier components.

Less vs more in a nutshell

Love the kit. Has taken me all over Colorado and Utah trails with a smooth ride. I have the 887 coils, soft struts, SPC UCAs and the HD leaf pack w/ extra add a leaf. I also added the wheelers super bumps front and rear
