Well he should do that too,
but I don't want to say what I'm pressuring him into buying until he says yes or no

I TRIED and WANTED to buy my truck in Modesto, but they wouldn’t go get the one I wanted. They didn’t believe me that I was serious! I knew EXACTLY what I wanted so I put a deposit on one up at Dolan Toyota in Reno and went and got it. Then 2 months later they called me and said they might be able to get one....I laughed

Not really. Caught a few but nothing to brag about.

only one. We almost lost it because we left without setting up thinking we were the only people there. When we went back there was a big dodge there and the three guys said they were skinny dipping. Soooo we drove around for awhile why they were bathing. Lol

    Near sawmill.

I've kinda stayed quiet thru the Modesto Toyota bashing, but I have had quite the opposite experience
I have bought 6 cars thru Modesto Toyota, and have had nothing but great experiences
I also have met the owner and he is an extremely down to earth nice guy
and their prices are what most dealerships are, the dealerships who are charging less for the parts are either going against Toyota policy or have different contracts with Toyota for their part sales
    just my $.02

    She ain't stock anymore.
I went knowing what I wanted too, test drove a DCLB in a different color than I wanted and talked to the salesman for about 5 min before walking. Dude seemed like I was personally inconveniencing him that I wanted MGM instead of black. Went home and emailed about 4 other dealerships with what I was looking for. Stockton Toyota emailed me back within an hour saying that they didn't have one in stock, but could trade one of their trucks with the one I wanted from a bay area dealership, and dude quoted me a price that was less than what I originally wanted to pay. Got my truck from them the next day. Hands down my best car buying experience to date. I've since read that the people who handle internet inquiry's typically don't fuck around, because they only have one shot to get you in the door, so you're likely to get better pricing and better service.

We went through Costco for the Camry earlier this year. They find the car and trim you want. Modesto happened to have one so we picked it up there. Bypassing the salesman all together. All prices are fixed in the deal through corporate. Basically the dealer didn’t make anything and they wasted all their time . I guess they do get a plus one for moving a unit. So much of the paper work was already done ahead of time with Toyota. They were kinda rude and made sure to tell us through the entire process how they are losing money.

The whole thing was streamlined and the process was as painless as it can be. I do use Merced Toyota. They are really good.

Inner boots came in... as well as my adjustable lifting shackles.

Starting to develop another pile of shit to do to the truck.

Finally got all the armor painted. Also put on some stickers. Thanks @Uphillshunter

Couple questions. Talked to LINE-X, $550. Wanted to know if it’s worth it or should I DIY and what brand if I DIY. Took out the bed liner, had a bunch of dirt, bark, and leaves underneath.

Also got a chance to meet the guys at County Line Customs. Had a nice talk with them. Wanting to get a bed rack and tire carrier, and wanted some opinions on which route. Tire carrier on the bumper or tire carrier on the bed rack (underneath the bed rack roof)?

    I highly recommend raptor liner
It’s a DIY liner with near professional results
I used it on my camper shell it was about $100 for the kit I got and only used half

Set this up last night, still not sure where I'm going to mount it. Also considering changing the tank orientation before it goes on the rack.
