Oh shoot. I forgot to reply about this, sorry!

Yeah. Upgrading to the oil filter I mentioned in page 1 of the thread will allow you to fill up with more oil capacity. Anywhere from 5.8- 6.0 quarts. I filled to 6.0 quarts and am just ever so slightly over the line but better to have more oil capacity since I rev so high all day when I drive.

@12TRDTacoma, which fittings did you use on your coolant res? Looks like it has 3. What size fitting do you have?

Oh man dude. Idk to be honest with you, it has been so long since I did it! If I had to do it all over again though i would use steel fittings though because these aluminum ones that I used suck. I had to end up re-removing them and sealing them up with silicone at the threads at one point because they were slightly leaky. Only one out of the bunch are steel and it is the inlet which is the steel one.

A good fitting and hydraulic shop in your area would be able to help hook you up with what you need.

I have a different plan for mine. I'm not going with their fittings. I'm wondering if 1/2" is going to create a bottle neck.

It won't. Not for the amount of flow we are seeing with our system.

Ah, I see. Wow that is a massive filter then! Lol!

I am putting in an oil cooler soon (parts in the mail, radiator has an integrated heat exchanger that just needs to be connected) so there is that for extra capacity I guess.

@12TRDTacoma Holy mother funky, I've looked at your build before but I just noticed that after looking again! Well done. I just have an additional heat exchanger.

Yeah the filter is MASSIVE over the OE design, and it all just works beautifully. I am factory oil cooled and that oil cooler from OE works great in reducing oil temperatures.

It's good for those racing around and even tracking their trucks (if they do) to prevent oil starvation and help with additional oil cooling.

Everyone has seen my build I'm sure. Lol. I have done some unorthodox things, but functional isn't always pretty if you get what I'm saying. ;)

Yep. Hacks aren't always pretty. My 2nd intercooler pump comes to mind. But, you can't really see it.

Is anyone interested in converting a meth setup to just use normal fuel? I am thinking about doing this. Still in the planning stages at this moment, but I think it would be a safe way to run a smaller pulley and adjust AFR since who knows if or when ovtune is going to do more custom tuning. I really want to join the cool club with a smaller pulley, a nice green belt and upgraded tensioner.

Rigging up a meth kit to spray fuel sounds like it has an acceptable level of hack-ness. Are you going braided stainless lines then?

Is it any cheaper than just getting a 7th injector setup? Curious if there would be any benefits to using this over a 7th
