I agree. This just might not be worth a damn and that's what I'm trying to figure out.

I definitely will. Just lots of people being stupid this morning. They sent me down to the alignment shop to drop a customer vehicle and pick up another one that needed more work. I get there and the "more work" included a new hub, rear axle and wheel spacer. They wanted me to drive it back with a cracked wheel spacer. Just fuck my safety I guess if it fails.

I called and had the alignment shop explain several times why it was unsafe THEN they sent someone to get me.

Oh damn. Understand that frustration. People don’t think about safety unless it indangers them

That is very true. I guess I'm just on edge today too because I've been pushing them on getting me a proof of insurance from the shop for when I am driving a customer vehicle and also a proof that my personal vehicle is covered when being used for work. I also demanded gas money on a weekly or bi weekly basis depending on how much I was going to have to be driving my personal vehicle.

When I had asked if I was covered for all that my immediate boss didn't even know. They paid out the gas money but seemed irritated and were very snappy with me about it which I don't feel like they have the right to be.

So true. I was next in line for assistant manager in parts. I was working the back counter and they didn’t want to let me do wholesale because they said they could not lose me on the counter or give me more money. So I left Lexus and went to Toyota and hated wholesale. So After twice trying to get me back they called me and finally gave me what I wanted money wise, but I lost my spot. It was the best thing that ever happened to me. Long story short moved here to Houston and work at our sister store northside Lexus in shipping and I love it. I never want to go back to the counter. I know it’s more money but at the end of the day I really like the back better.

So what you're saying is if I need Lexus parts for a job I should call you? :)
Thank you! <3 I love working around cars and this job(other than the owner's behavior)is great most of the time. Just have days where we all want to mutiny.
