how do you like it? I was told it should work for most scenarios just fine. I'm not trying to do anything too crazy but i think it will get the job done or help someone else out in need.

Love it. No problems at all. Pulled a Jeep out last year at ATR. I did get rid of the standard hook and slapped a factor 55 on.

Thinking I am going to purchase suspension during Black Friday sales ( I am assuming there are going to be some), but the possibility of discount has me thinking.... The plan originally was 5100s in all 4 corners, 887's and an AAL. However, I am contemplating the full OME set with the soft ride struts and medium Dakars. Anyone with direct experience of the latter? I'd like a little better on road feel.. I find the stock OR suspension is fine but definitely a bit stiff and bumpy. Would the soft ride offer that and still perform better/well offroad compared to stock? And I have seen a few different reports on the medium dakars - headstrong's website says 2" of lift with no extra weight, while a few other websites have said 2" but with up to 330 lbs of constant weight. I know the heavys are good for 660, but does anyone know which is true for the mediums?

Edit: @the.sight.picture I know you have OME shocks and coils but did you have dakars? I can't remember.... drank too many beers when home.

    TIA.

You'll be happy with the OME set up, but here's another comparable set up I would recommend. Bilstein 6112 up front, and in the rear bilstein b110 (extended 5100), medium dakars and +4" extended brake lines for rear. This will give you a solid set up and plenty of flex in the back.

I have a similar setup but with 888s and the heavy Dakars. I personally wish that I would have went with the medium Dakar pack, and I may end up removing a leaf until I actually start carrying weight back there. My truck definitely has a slight Detroit lean thanks to the heavies out back and no weight. Plus, I think that is causing my truck to hop/buck when I go over certain short hills or quick rises in the road (hard to explain). I do like the ride of the soft ride shocks, but I will switch to them out and go with my 886 coils once I run an aftermarket bumper up front. In my opinion, the OME setup is more firm than the stock OR suspension, but in a good way. Hope that helps a little.

I almost went with a setup like this but with the 5160 out back. The OME was cheaper, so I went that route instead.

If anyone ever gets an aftermarket leaf pack I always recommend the B110. The amount of extra downtravel over standard replacements is pretty significant and is extremely handy offroad! I just wish there was a comparable length higher end set up.

I was researching that setup the other day too and that is a possibility as well. My concern with 6112 is it's rated at only 2" up front and I am hoping/wanting more around 2.5". That aside, that looks like a great setup and would give me the better on road characteristics that I want. And that setup on @Wheeler's Off-Road Inc is $1344... Not bad. Will y'all be doing any Black Friday or Cyber Monday sales?

Y'all as in Mobtown? I haven't a clue. I don't actually work for them, as it's all slave labor. I get paid in wawa pretzels.

Are you running aftermarket UCA's with 888's? I want the front as high as possible BUT was trying to avoid UCA's. Are you in spec and aligned with no isses if you do have stock UCA's?

EDIT: I see now your signature below your avatar says LR UCA's
