    I am a 2nd gen and was trying clarify the difference between the two setups as you did so that possible consumers weren’t misinformed. I have worked with Eric as I run his Hammer Hangers and he’s always been repsonsive and informative. I’m excited that he is giving the 1st gen market something intuitive and have told a few of my 1st gen friends about it!

    I have also seen @Trident904 boast about his rear shock setup in other threads with little support of what makes it so great. Not tying to troll, just trying to make sure that claims are supported. :threadjacked:

    Yesir. The 2.5s are just too much for what I do.
    The current plan is an inboard relocation with the flip. However @desertjunkie760 alerted me to this and here I am.

    I also just re checked what I ordered and it's a remote with a bracket. So I'll have mounting options. I can look cool like my ginger coheart @Willbeck but still have options.

    Are you open to mounting your shocks outboard? Seems like fitting 12" under the bed with good uptravel is a hard fit, unless significantly lifted.

    2wd to 4wd, 4.7 Taco box, 3 inch lift with upper A arm and coilovers, ARB rear Spartan front 4.88 R&P, MC bumpers front + rear and sliders, 35 12.5 tires with walker evans race bead lock wheels, on board air system, lots of cutting in fenders and fire wall.

    It's not too difficult to do. I did it 8ish years ago with some 2.5 SAW's, which were the shortest 12" shocks at the time. Current over the cap with welded rod end Kings would be close to the same Ext/Comp dimensions. Pulled 11-12" vertical with a roughly 50/50 up down split and using J59 deaver springs.

    IMO without seriously recessing into the frame it's not worth the time to try and squeeze a 2.5 outside the frame with a stock axle even with wheel spacers.

    travel numbers split. So if you have 12" of travel total it would be 6" up and 6" down

    It will work but i'm open to options.
