Is anyone else on here a fan of WWE? If you had asked yesterday I’d say I am a huge fan. Now that they’re saying they’re still going through with Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia, I’m unsure. Discuss away (or add arguable topics because I love to argue)

I do lol. I went to Wrestlemania and Hell in a Cell this year, and watch at least Raw and Smackdown every week. That may change because of this Saudi Arabia deal though

    Ill out my self here....
One reason they aren't stopping the show is because this isn't "pro wrestling" any more. Its "sports entertainment" and Vince will always do what it takes to make a buck and in this case its a very large amount over the next 10 years is what I have heard. One thought I have is that the evolution ppv is a "make up" event for the females not being able to go to the two Saudi shows.

PS it sucks that Joe/Roman has cancer.

Whenever your biggest guys (John Cena and Daniel Bryan), fans and even senators are pushing back against it, you have to come up with a really good reason not to do what they want. The WWE doesn't seem to have a reason besides money. One week they want to be the women's rights champion (which I fully support, and the women's matches/storylines have been better than the universal champion storyline this year), the next week they are having events in anti women's countries. I don't think going through with it and offering Evolution as consolation prize to the women is a good move. Then throw in the murder of Khassogi and they're horrible record of human rights in general, and it really makes me wonder if Vince is still sane.

I am the biggest D-generation X fan ever, and if they ever have another match in the U.S. I am going no matter how much it costs. It's a shame that their return has to be in this horrible situation.

I wasn't a huge fan of Reigns, I thought they were pushing him too hard to be the next John Cena. I do feel bad for the guy and I definitely respect him. I think Braun will be an interesting short term champion, but he's not charismatic enough or fun enough in matches to ride long term (even though WWE will probably do it anyway). I really want to see Finn Balor have another shot. Fans like him and he is fun to watch. Also his last reign as champion was only 22 hours because of a legitimate injury and I think he deserves another shot.

Im not saying its right at all... I'm just providing facts... I believe the number is in the hundreds of millions over 10 years. It doesn't help that the saudi's own over 10% of the US.:annoyed:.

Sounds like you an I grew up about the same time and had DX and Rock and SA as main people. Personally I'm ready to see what the new guys can do and I'm ready for the matches to tell me a story again. Stop showing me a broken Taker that comes and says something for 15 seconds and then leaves. Also stop showing me 6 freaking hour long PPV's.... I'm good with 3-4 hour shows... give me 1 raw and 1 smackdown PPV on the months that aren't RR WM Summer Slam and Survivor Series. I do agree they should make Finn the champ but I also don't know why Shinsuke isn't getting the run he was before.

I have a Stone Cold University Class of 3:16 poster in my room. I was really young during the attitude era but I love watching videos about it.

Wrestlemania was about 8 hours long! including the non televised pre-matches, but Hell in a Cell was like 3 hours 45 minutes but it ended really early. I think giving Shinsuke this US championship run is a good move because I don’t think he has what it takes to be an interesting WWE champion yet, but he is building up to that now.

I definitely agree that they need to stop dragging the undertaker back into the ring. His appearance at Wrestlemania was awe inspiring, and he looked to be in good shape, but hasn’t looked good since then. They need to let Kane be mayor, HHH be a corporate man and Undertaker/Shawn Michaels he retired.

I also HATE how the USA shows/ppv seem to only build up storylines for foreign ppvs. Like Wrestlemania was just a build up for greatest royal rumble and HIAC was just a build up for super showdown.

Smackdown is going to end up as the A-list show soon. They’re championship storylines have been good (especially the US and Womens). Randy Orton, Jeff Hardy, Miz, Rey Mysterio, The New Day and AJ Styles are demolishing Raw.

I used to watch this when DX was popular. "Cause if your not down with that we got two words for ya" Stopped after that.

Lets talk about who you would like to...
    Stay
    Go
    Be pushed

and that goes for all 3 shows.. raw, SD live, and NXT

I think Seth Rollins needs to stay at the high level he’s currently at. I’m not sure I like the idea of someone having 2 championships (tag team and intercontinental), but if anyone deserves it, it is Seth Rollins, until he gets put in the universal championship story. Also I really like The New Day, and have enjoyed their title runs and general joy to watch.

Go- I think Brock Lesnar needs to go. Him coming to Hell in a Cell and kicking the door down was awesome, but he was a horrible champion and his reign was way too long, they need to let him go to back to UFC and get beat down like CM Punk

Push- I think Finn Bálor and Bobby Lashley on Raw need to be pushed harder. Bobby Lashley is so likable (too bad his manager is horrible). I think that if they push Seth Rollins into the universal championship picture (which he deserves) Lashley needs to be in the intercontinental title picture, along with Finn Bálor (assuming neither of them get put in the universal championship story)

    Who are your Stay-Go-Push?

Hold my beer while I nerd out for a second.

    Raw...
Push rollins and ambrose as singles but not enemies
Bring over adam cole from NXT and put him in the storyline with Finn for the intercontinental title
get rid of lesner like you said

    SD Live
push the story line of rusev and aiden english.... I wanna see where aiden can go with his mic skills.
I wanna see a lot more of styles vs ANYONE mainly joe or shinsuke but I think he can make a lot of people look good.
Get rid of the Iconics CANT STAND THEM

    NXT
I have gotten to a point where I like watching NXT takeovers more then most PPV's but I also understand that until vince is dead he will be the one always calling the shots on the two main rosters. With that said I got nothing but good things to say and don't care about what they do with NXT because I like what HHH is doing with the product other then some outcomes of bigger matches... but the storylines are good.
I would how ever get rid of EC3... hard to watch his wrestling style...

I love that you bring up the IIconics, and I’ll go ahead and say they’re Raw equivalent is Riott Squad. I think those two groups that are as tolerable as nails on a chalk board, make the other women superstars that much more exciting.

The women’s story lines have been really good this year. I am honestly excited for Evolution, and not because me and my buddies are going to get drunk and watch women in skimpy outfits (specifically @charlotteflair) entertain us. I think they’re story lines are far better than the universal championship, and even better than the WWE championship (I love styles but I hate Shinsuke (even though that one was decent) and I hate Joe even more (that story was terrible)). I am more excited for Evolution than Crown Jewel (I’ll probably boycott that one and watch the DX vs BOD match on YouTube).

And the women’s matches live are always extremely entertaining. It’s obvious they try really hard. I’ve seen a few snooze fest men’s matches at PPVs, but the women always put on a good show. I’m sad that Wrestlemania is in NY this year and I live in Texas so I probably won’t make it

Sorry i was gone for a few days... had shoulder surgery Friday.

I too think some of the women’s story lines are better then most of of the guys. Since I will be home for a month I will be watching evolution in the next few days.

I didn't watch Evolution last night either. Got too tied up working on my truck and forgot about it. According to bleacher report it is definitely worth a watch.
