Have you run them without the 7th injector installed? Any idea of what the idc was with that setup? Seems like 61lb are adequate..

@Roostfactor runs 61lbs with no 7th and I believe his DC is also in the mid-60s as well.

I still have the TRD injectors. At 13psi it does not lean out at high RPMs at all. But, I do have 7th injector, and water/methanol.

You shouldn't have issue except spending a lot of money.

The injector is controlled by the ECU and will give you all the fuel your engine is calculated to need. No more, no less.

I should say, I have the injectors that come with the TRD supercharger. I'm sure they're something other than TRD brand.

I think the fpr mod probably also helps with this since its increasing your fuel pressure to the amount of boost psi referenced.. been considering doing the fpr mod on mine even tho i have the ucon just to see if it will richen things up and make the truck stop leaning out. Sick of fighting this damn problem, its been a solid 4months since install with no difference from day 1 :(

Are you running FPR mod or are you using the 7th injector as well as the water methanol to supplement what would otherwise be the lean mixture?

You cannot run FPR as it will throw off the UCON tune. I do not advise trying to run FPR, but then again all rules were meant to be broken as this thread has proven from the beginning so have at it if you feel brave!

I guess ill give it another month and see if I can track down whats causing it. Starting to really bother me though, its borderline sickening :annoyed:

Always craps out on me when trying to pass someone, or during some other crucial moment, like merging on the hwy

I don't know the back story, are you running lean? I'd check with URD on the DEKA injectors, make sure they are easily tunable with the UCON.

What's the problem with yours again? Too lean all the time?

I have the FPR referencing manifold pressure, yes. I know there's talk of issues with that throwing off the UCON but for me, it hasn't done anything. AFR is right where I like it.

I'm not sure if the injectors are maxed out and the 7th injector/methanol is supplementing such that it otherwise would be a totally lean mixture. I keep saying I will call URD to see how much headroom is on the injectors, but I haven't had a reason to call URD to find out what my injector duties are; I have been having no issues with my setup.

I almost feel like you have too much fuel being put through honestly, but if AFR indicates good readings then to hell with what I am saying. The fact you are running closed loop under WOT changes the game.

@rjbiii, try out the FPR mod. If my man here is doing it, you should be able to also.

Runs good most of the time, but intermittently leans out when in 3rd gear (6spd manual) and going from like 2500-3000rpms at wot. Afrs just fall off basically and then the guardian kicks in.

Also happens when doing the same thing in 4th gear when accelerating wot and i pass the 3k rpm mark, it intermittently stutters/falls flat on its face. Ive had the same thing happen in 2nd, and 5th gear as well. Never has happened in 1st

Will have to check with urd, but the injectors ive been looking at appear to be identical to the ones they sell on their site. Deka/siemens with bosch ev1 connector

What did URD say? I would think that you could get a tune session setup to look at that. Might help you trouble shoot the issue. That doesn't sound like an injector problem unless your duty cycle is approaching 100%, which I would think would come higher in the RPM band than 3,000

A random total lean-out is bewildering. It happened to me years ago after I put the Walbro pump in, and that was a cracked fuel line right off the pump. But I know you already checked that.
