Now I know that my rack is like a little ho spending time with all these dudes for a little while at a time. I guess this is just how it is, a lot of dudes will spend a good amount of money to have a nice rack around. ( o Y o )

well, you can look at it this way. Not all shark fins are created equally, mine is short and stubby.

 

Gonna try and get my sliders on after work. Any tips for a solo install? I was thinking about finally grabbing some jack stands to help out.

 

maybe a jack that can raise them into place for you and hold it some what in the right location. Or a second pair of hands.


Edit: jack stands might work out.

 

A motorcycle\ATV jack is the way to go.

 

I used a 2x4 on a floor jack to get it into position, then pinned it up under the truck into place. The 2x4 helps keep down scratches and provides a good platform. If you’ve got cardboard makes sliding around under the truck easier if you don’t have a trolley. My fat abs were so sore after I was done.

 

Not specifically Tacoma related... but I got me a pretty sweet deal on a little Jenny today.

 

Now I feel like one of the cool kids.



I did drivers first and it was a PITA, passenger was easy peasy. Hardly any cursing, and I didn't even have to call Morgan!
