So are we cooking out Saturday night? Or heading into town to eat and hang out?

I will definitely be camping on site, though.

I think that might be the best route to take so the only thing I need to worry about hauling around is my sleeping bag, a change a drawers, and a small ice chest.

    And my teddy bear ftw.

I just got off the phone with Steve...administrator of the park. Please carefully read this post carefully.

Today's rain should not be an issue. Only a few of the trails and areas may be closed if any.

The Texas Chapter of Off Road Vehicles will be there at the same time we are. They have a meeting Saturday night around 8:00p. Shortly after, they are going out for some night wheelin'. We should have access to the Club House after their meeting and for the night.

If we want to use the clubhouse, it will be a $100.00 deposit. This money will not be taken from your account. Most folks just write a check and it is given back at check out.

I am taking the lead for this meet. The front gate will remain locked. If you need in, give me a call or send a text message. I know where the key is and I can let you in. Please, if at all possible, don't leave a voicemail - they are just annoying. Try to call and/or send a text. My number is 214-476-9360. You may want to get that in your phone.

In case I am not available, Steve's mobile phone number is 979-229-7323. His email is opersteins@hotmail.com.

RATES: To wheel - $10 a day per day for every participant. If you want to camp, it is an additional $5.

Organization issues as of now - I need a SOLID RSVP list of folks coming. Please post if you are absolutely coming, whether you will be camping on site, your name (if it is not near your avatar pic), and if you would like to use the Club House to sleep in.

I want to get a head count for campers for safety and accountability reasons.

I think that should just about cover everything. If need be, I can write the deposit for the clubouse for Saturday (granted my wife has some checks somewhere).

    Thanks in advance guys!

I can see that...as I am trying to find the entrance on Google Maps.

Can someone who has been there before may a map and provide some description as to the EXACT location of the gate to BVORR? Post it up so that we don't get lost out on 47.

The entrance is Northwest of Villa Maria Road on the southeast bound side of 47. There will be a crossover that leads directly into the driveway of the ranch.
I tried to link a map but can't get the freakin thing to work, sorry.
