Yeah I've never used loctite on my LBJ bolts. Never had one back out. But there are guys who swear you need to. There was talk not too long ago about people saying to use red on them.

Isn't red supposed to require heat to break loose? I thought that was what made it different from the blue stuff, or maybe there are different classes of each.

By hand usually. Impact gun can get it loose. Also depends on how clean the threads were when applying & the size of the fasteners. Speaking of which I use 243 the most rather than the common 242.

I have red loctite on the bolts for my UCA uniballs. Impact gun takes them off easily.

Looks good. I did something similar. What sort of socket and bulb did you use?

I actually just copied your setup and ordered the linked parts you posted. In addition, I picked up an EP-35 LED relay to eliminate the hyper-blink. This is a much easier way to do the relocation than other ways I've seen. Thanks for sharing!

You’re “supposed” to replace the bolts every time, like ubolts.

Obviously a lot of people do, there was just a huge conversation about bolts.

That picture you quoted has new ubolts.

Fair enough, I thought I remembered people saying to replace LBJ bolts.
