Been there. Both parents at different times. Grieving happens and different stages come and go. Hang in there man. Just remember the good times.

Sorry man. Sending good vibes your way. Best thing to do in my opinion is stay busy. Surround yourself with friends or family and keep going forward. Tacomaworld family has your back too :)

Over time I have lost my Father, Step-father, Mother, and 2 Partners. It never gets any easier, but it will get better over time, believe me.

I feel for you man. If it helps you in any way, remember that you’re blessed to have had a dad like that. It sounds like you admire him. It’s unfortunate, but in this age a lot of people don’t have dads like that. So the best thing you can do is live your life in a way that makes him proud and honor him.

I unexpectedly lost my dad when i was 18. Toughest times are when i start thinking about how great a grandpa he would have been to my two boys. You'll think about him every day thats for sure. Sometimes i still feel the same way you do op, but you'll learn to cope. My condolences go out to you and your family. Sad times indeed and like others have said theres no getting over it, just keep on pushing through!

I lost one of my best friends in a tragic accident a few years ago. I was understandably quite upset. Somebody sent this to me and it helped. Hopefully it will possibly help you as well. Sorry for the loss of your father.

    I appreciate everyone’s thoughts.
And he was a very special man.
I am fortunate to have such great parents and try to follow their example for my kids.
I hope he was proud of me.
    Sorry just crushed.

I will do what I can to follow his footsteps but it’s just hard at this point and time.
I am sure in time it will be easier but as of now it just sucks.
