It won't work on your truck. The mounting points are not there.

Great post. I was going to buy this cover on CL but it does not come with the hardware. I just did a quick search and it cost $160 plus shipping cost for the hardware.

Think I could cheap out and make this work with only 4/6 points latched?

Get the SS bolts vs buying the one from Toyota. They are also cheaper.

Anyone know the part numbers for the bed rails that are not cut already? About to order the hardware and cut my current bed rails, but wanted to make sure I had a back up plan should it go south! Worst cast is I spend $200 for the precut!

M6x1.25 Only cap screws are the two for the center alignment piece, the other 12 are countersunk, I doubt you’ll get the plastic cover on if you use cap head.

Will the mounting hardware fit on an 18 sport DCSB? Haven’t pull the bed rail off yet but hoping the mounting holes will still match up and Toyota did not change the set up to fit the newer Extang with clamps. Thanks!

Hey Guys, excellent post, just bought the hardware list (approx $200, just hardware, no rails or cover) and installed. Might recommend a T30 torx driver (instead of T27 as previously described) for the post bolts, it fit and wasn't as sloppy so probably less likely to strip out the heads. Also would recommend some form of thread dressing on those bolts. When I went to install mine the threads on the truck were rusty and it seems as if the all the elements from wheel well gets up to that area, so it might help to keep the bolts from "rust welding" after a while. I used a dremel multi max with the half circle blade and it keeps the cuts nice and straight and clean with just a little file or sand paper after to finish cleaning the cut. Also I found out that a good frame of reference for where to cut were the "dust/dirt" marks that you can see on the rails from the bolt holes on the bed sides. Have fun, pretty simple install. Now just got to pick up the cover from the seller in a week or so.

I saw the earlier post about the precut bed rails 66248-04070 and 66249-04070. From looking around, it looks like these are for the short bed? Does anyone have the part numbers for the long bed versions? Thanks!

There is no OEM cover for the long bed, so there won’t be any pre cut rails for it.

It was discontinued, it no longer is available, and I’m pretty sure they never made the bed rails for it, just cut them.

Access cab and Double Cab long bed are the same bed right? Theirs a Tonneau locally for sell but is coming off an access cab. It should fit no problem?
