@scollins are you setup with a distributor at all? Looking for a Springfield XDm 4.5" in 10mm (possibly the 5.25" if no 4.5")

Fuuuuuuuck. Milwaukee tools don't like tracked machines. The lithium batteries make cool fireworks though.

That's the second one! Previous milwaukee tool saw the inside of a cone crusher. It came out on two seperate conveyors in sizes ranging from 5/8- to 2". :frusty:

The first time you make a mistake it's an accident. The second time, it's on purpose. The third time it's a habit.... Hopefully this doesn't turn into a habit.

well the truck went into Michael's and everything is due now. I'm prioritizing battery and front brakes. Already ordered an Odyssey. Some of you have Power Stop pads and rotors right? Wondering if I should spend that kind of money or just get pads. Michael's claim I need rotors but I'm going to look at them myself because i don't trust them. Now that I'm out of free services I shan't be going to them anymore.

What's your opinion on rear drums needing service at 61k miles? Seems like they should go longer than that. Drums are one thing I've never done before. 87 4-Runner went 200k with nobody ever looking at the drums and then I sold it.

My rears are at 73k and are fine, depends on how you use them though. Good thing about drums is just do one side at a time, and keep the other put together as a template to follow.

You can have the front rotors milled at say Les Schwab if there is enough material there to keep you in spec, and it’s not that expensive. Pads are pads, I usually go with mid to higher grade when it comes to those. If you need any help with it to save some coin let me know.

I had my fronts done around 90k. The dealership said rears were fine. I immediately thought about going with Stop Tech as I had installed those on my C230 Komp and they are awesome (and inexpensive). What stopped me (no pun intended) was a concern that mud may accumulate in the rotors and cause premature wear and noise.

Love my Odyssey batteries! Three years and no issues so far.

You got 61k miles out of your original front pads/rotors? Damn, I go through pads/rotors every 25k-30k miles it seems. I tried the TRD Performance pads at the first change with new OEM rotors, and those didn't last any longer (done by Michael's). Second time I bought the Power Stop rotor/pad kit from Amazon for $165 and did it myself. Happy so far with the performance, but it's only been since February, so longevity can't be commented on yet.

I would venture to say your drums are fine. Easy enough to look though. But really unless you are towing, doing hard braking all the time, ect theres no reason they shouldn't last 100k+. Most of the braking is done at the front anyways.

like anything brake wise though its all a matter of how you drive so no real way to know without looking.
