    Got the truck finished.. Big thanks to @05TacoRunner for the help tonight with the final flush and fill!

    The heater core being seized closed was the culprit! I have heat, and the temp gauge works again. Took it for a little cruise and all is well.

    Didnt get any pics.. but the shit that came out of that heater core was disgusting.. thick and dark... (giggity).. Filled it till full with Toyota 50/50 pink. Water pump seems to be sealed properly this time. :rolleyes: Feels good to have conquered the first task on the truck! It's much easier and more fun than the Taco IMO.

    Nice clean truck. I have an 87 nissan with almost 300k on original clutch...lol...all stock.

    I have an 87 but luckily been in family since day 1. However all the vacuum hoses are starting to break and that's the only thing I don't have service records on. Not stock anymore tho...:D
