Ah you had to redo the line locations due to where you needed to weld the lower tabs? You are running a 33"x12.5 right? Since your shock mount is pushed so far forward, I really wonder if this is still doable with a 35" tire.

Yeah, you have to mess with brake lines, ebrake cable routing, and the proportioning valve to get everything to work.

Pull out a tape measure and start measuring, you're not going to make it work outside the frame without rubbing.

I measured last night from the top how much space I have, about 4.25". But top side measurements don't matter as much as the measurements when the tire is at full stuff on the side where the shocks are located in Jace's case.

Rubbing is less of a concern as making sure the tire isn't straight ripping into the shock body.

I was able to reuse my old shocks for the time I was waiting on the Kings to come in.

How big is this air tank? I have two Jerry cans mounted under my bed and have plenty of room for resi or even piggy backs inboard the frame.

It's gonna help on that first tire.

Do you not carry 10mm - 19mm socket set?

I have had bolts back out with no loctite and blue loctite (could have been install error) torqued to 59ftlbs per the manual.

    That sounds interesting, got pics?

I'll post a pic when I'm done with breakfast of the tank, normal sized 5 gal tank

I'll see what I have in my phone still.

Also if you have a heavy bed I think the only way to control that is with revalvable shocks. OME and Billies don't dampen nearly enough

Now go stuff one side and measure again. That tire will move way closer to the frame.

Better yet take something round that's 2" in diamater and see if it will fit between the tire and frame.

    Just 3 tons of fun!!!
Definately let us know what you think of it.

I'm getting ready to convert my truck to 4x in the next couple months. Before I install the diff I'd like to lock it. Of course I would LIKE to do an ARB but I'm not sure my budget is going to allow for the $950 price tag (with everything else I'm planning to do this winter). I'm looking at the Spartan or TrueTrac as a less expensive alternative.

I've got an Aussie locker in the front of mine. I like it. I have control of my ADD so I can unlock the passenger axle and allow for better turning. If you are locked and need to turn it ratchets so its easier.

Only negative I see is that you don't have an open diff option anymore.

I either broke something or mine is worn out. I noticed my last trip it would ratchet way more than it should. I got 3 years out of it and I'm not sure how long @ToyRyd04 had it in his rig before me.

So go get that measurement so we all have some useful information. :luvya:

This was done in the garage with a jack, I couldn't get the bumps to compress. Actually have less clearance than this.

 Wish you had measurements more forward. I'd like to see those numbers compared to the part where the wheel is the closest to the frame.

Yup cause the 4 banger really needs an extra 10 gallons of fuel. I still remember on the Kokopelli, out of all of us, Ryan used the least gas and was carrying the most spare fuel. Though admittedly, I do want to steal this idea from him one day. I'm just being an asshole this morning.

Had it about 2ish years (have the spec sheet and clearence sheet numbers somewhere in the garage), installed it when I pulled a @cynicalrider and broke my front spider gears.;)
Wonder if the springs are just wornout, running the same locker in my 8" front now.

No, I was sitting right in the middle of shock travel when the springs were new. I'm sure it's still close. I do have a 1" BL but think it could be done without it. King offers a 1.1" shorter top cap that I went with but could have also gone with the welded rod end and make the overall length 2.1" shorter than the standard 10" 2.5 shocks are.

Yep, better than being rear-ended with one on a swingout... Not a scratch on them from wheeling yet. When I added the rear tube cross member they really sucked up close to the bed since the factory xmember was so low.

After that trip I now have a smaller gas tank than you all. :luvya: it's also getting about the same if not worse mpg than @Squeaky Penguin now. Hopefully it was due to a clogged charcoal cannister but I won't know anytime soon.

I plan on making one a pressurized water can at some point...
