My URD intake HATES water coming into it, I wish I had the hydrophobic sock, but instead I got that ugly metal shield.

603-210 MAF is what will fit undoubtedly. I know because I have a running endless warranty claim every 8 months with my parts store to exchange it.

That would rev pretty sweet I'm sure.

You could up it to 2.5 if you like. Anything over in my opinion is way overkill.

Mine does too.. not normally a problem where im at, but lately, its been flooding like no other time ive ever seen. I've been running the sock and the shield, and my intake still takes in water sometimes.. A couple of times it's been so bad i took the filter in with me to work to dry

 

I painted the shield flat black. Looks all right!

Hey man... just wait until you see my next dyno results! I joke. But, maybe not...

 

Just gotta do one more mod and then I'll head to the dyno again... I'm keeping it a secret until I can show you guys pictures.

I have it opened up to 3" from the collector at the Y back. Ill probably leave it at 2.25" tho

2*3.14159*(2.25/2)^2=7.95
3.14159*(3/2)^2=7.06

By my calculation, looks like 2.25 is adequate.

is this a cross sectional area calculation? or what are we looking at here..

Yes I did. Pretty much the biggest mistake I could’ve made. The Bully Dog tune did not work for $hit.
