    All new style lids (AUTO ONLY) wil fit previous 3D printed trays. (MT will not as we had a hinge redesign)
    Only thing is I moved the magnet location from 1 in the center to 2 on the outside. So worse case all you would have to do is drill 2X small 1/16” holes in your old tray and push new magnets in.(so it would line up with new lid)

    it is not a good idea, being it is an open top design. This allows oxgen to get to the ashes and can keep the heat going enough to start to melt the plastc or at the very least, get into a stage were it will begin to off-gas noxious fumes. You'd be better off getting a closed top self extinghiuishing design like this.ashtray.jpg

    Solid point there, although the Toyota ashtray is also an flip open top design too. I was thinking this would be a good option while still keeping the center cup holder.
