Based on my dyno, was at 86% duty cycle on the 455cc oem SC injectors on 2.7 pulley without FPR. AFRs were slightly lean for both TRD and OVTune which had very similar results on my setup.

Interested to see how much the FPR mod actually affects duty cycle for those of us still running 455cc injectors on smaller pulleys. I plan on doing another dyno after I get the JFR y-pipe - in addition to having already stepped down to 2.5 with FPR

I guess I'd better get calling URD and find out what my duty is.

Crazy! I haven't had any issues. Granted, it's pretty dry here, but I have driven through at least a few epic rainstorms since I put it in...

If i lived somewhere where it rained frequently, i probably already would've swapped out intakes.. but since its dry probably 340 days out of the year here, i decided to just keep it and throw the sock on when the rain starts rolling in.

Too depressing for my blood. Lol. The rain is cool but I prefer a sunshiny sort of place. If it is sunny out AND cold at the same time. Bank because it's perfect boost weather.

Agreed! Definitely not for me either. Im like you, prefer somewhere with sunshine, but only occasional cold weather.. Starting to like the cold more and more lately though!

So to compare for FPR, if I add 10 psi to fuel pressure for this same case, it decreases injector duty cycle from 86% to 77%. Not a significant drop-off using FPR. And the BHP is for 2.7 pulley.

Interesting calculator! Thanks for sending this along. Thing is, I was getting almost that BHP with a 2.825" pulley - tested by dyno to 309whp, if you add about 15% losses then that's 355bhp.

I’m running the TCAI with the metal shield here in WA. I ran the sock on the east coast, then did the shield out here in the PNW. Headin back to NC in a few days where I’ll probably put the shield back on the shelf and just run the sock.

I’ve had no issues with the intake though, anywhere I’ve been. Aside from taking the MAF out to clean it every winter due to all the grime in the roads from salt and stuff

Thank @Torspd for showing me this calculator.

I dynoed 314whp on the 2.7 non-boost referenced and thought the numbers were underwhelming (although it was about 95deg that day), but I was also running lean. The website with this calculator also says "Most injectors will max out at 80% duty cycle and this is the accepted industry standard."

I'm thinking of throwing in the 61lb injectors next time I have the blower off just as insurance

OVTune. The nice thing about the handheld is I can compare OVTune and TRD tune for all mods. I haven't seen much difference between the two on my truck. Others have seen much more of a noticeable difference with OVTune.

can you adjust for the 61# injectors with the handheld? or are you stuck with the stock TRD injectors?

The TRD tune was actually more lean than the OVTune on my dyno, if you can believe that.

No adjustment from the handheld. The question about injector size adjustments has been raised several times, but I don't believe he's ever clarified what size injectors his software can handle.

I'm sure it can handle larger injectors with a custom tune, but you'd have to get that done to run them.
