I guess the only thing I'd add is that it is translucent smoke lens tint, doesn't affect light output drastically at all, peels off in about 10-20 seconds, costs $9, and I figured I'd see how it came out, and just peel it off if I don't like it. Still undecided.

At least you considered there may be information that you were unaware of. Other people on here want to give permission before people touch their own truck lol. People are awesome.
Everyone has different opinions, it's fine that it looks terrible in someone's eyes. Certain assumptions crack me up tho, but it's also entertaining. TW is filled with a wealth of knowledge that I've tapped into over the years.

Crazy, I've never seen spray like that before. It looks like solid color but yet allows some light through. We truly do live in the future. I'd still ask my insurance guy about it just in case.

 

Have you checked your wheel bearings?

 

Thnx for your concern. Light output is not affected much at all, see pic in daylight. Assumptions are stupid dangerous haha. It was $9 and peels off super easy, I'm still deciding.

That's a very fair point. I could peel it off way before insurance saw it, but someone would take pics if they rear ended me I'm sure. It really shouldn't matter because the light is still plenty bright, doubt it could cause an accident, but pics may warrant insurance to not cover. Not worth it in that case of course. Might just have to peel my $9 off.

 

I wonder if anyone has used it on their windows! Instant spray on tint!

 

There actually is spray on tint that peels off too haha.

 

Plenty of light still, but members brought up that insurance may not cover me being rear ended, so I need to check. May have to just peel it off, plus I'm 50/50 still, looks good except up close. I wish it didn't look so much like regular paint and still allowed more red thru. I could have done less coats I suppose hah.

 

Installed my new lightbar today. Filled old mounting holes with weld and made some new mounts and welded them on. This fooker is bright.

 

Just ordered 12" Kings for a relocation. Guess I haven't "done" much today except spend money. But excited to see how the travel is!

Yup! I've had a couple go out on me over the years. If you jack up the front of your truck so your wheels can spin freely and you are able to shake/move them towards and away from you (as apposed to just spinning them, or turning them with the direction of steering) than there is likely a problem.

Never tried to do that to be honest. But might be a bit too late now anyway since it's going in on Monday. Don't think I'll have time to check over the weekend, so I might as well mention it so they can check.

Got a checkup from the dealership. 126K and a clean bill of health.

Also, this thing is going to rearend me some day I know it.
