right. but oddly it's not the transmission that makes this MT so weird to drive. not many makers can tune a motor so badly. not sure i've ever seen it this bad from a factory.

 

I'm the same, on 1.03 and been waiting on going to the dealership to get the new TSB. Is it recommended to have the lastest TSB?

 

Yep. Once the software is sorted out and I'm happy, the next thing is the clutch feel. There's already some very positive feedback from those who have deep sixed the accumulator.

 

Making a paper weight out of the accumulator a year ago has made a hell of a difference in the way the truck drives.

 

I really hate the vagueness, it sucks some of the fun out of driving this thing. Anyway, it's high on my list.

I think I'm gonna try the HOLY FAWK tip-in tune to see if it turns into an apple pie tip-in after a coupla thousand km.

 

Not sure what this means unless you are the Incredible Hulk in which case I don’t know how you fit in the Tacoma

I’ve got 70k miles of shifting and mine still feels solid

The stick just feels cheap. My 2003 had a much thicker more solid feel to it
