    Unfortunately Cooper doesn't offer a warranty on them, at least not for that kind of damage (blown out sidewall from hitting a rock). I ended up having to buy a new one, and then I purchased the Discount Tire warranty on them retroactively so they gave one for 'free' as well, which was really cool of them. I just had to buy one extra as a spare and purchase the warranty which was like $25/tire. It will allow you to replace them for any reason whatsoever if they go flat or blow out like mine did. I recommend getting the warranty if you can (most tire shops offer something like that).

    I haven't had any issues with them since, so I think it was just a freak accident that that happened when it did. They've been great tires otherwise, pretty stiff in E load but I'm used to that from previous tires.

    If he wants a skinny 33 (255/85r16) then his options are pretty limited and I think the STMaxx are the best bet, aside from maybe the KM2s but those are MTs.

    Dang that's a good warranty, not bad for $25 a tire either. His runner is all stock so he's probably just going stock size I would assume

    yeah I definitely recommend them, good tires so far. Real deep tread and a reputation for having a real tough sidewall, even though I managed to prove that otherwise within a week of owning them lol.
