It was a joke, meaning the old motor was burning oil.

I figured. Just wanted to make sure. I've heard the burnt tips referred to as oil slick, etc due to the color.

She's an 87 complete with more rounded fenders and W series engine. Can wait to drive it, my first drive of it lasted about 15mins before it let me know just how bad it needed my attention (and that the temp gauge was inop haha). That red on yours is beautiful.

Hell yeah we did, I've never gotten to work on a Z32 before, how you liking it?

Thanks. They are great driving cars and you'll love it. So far everything on mine works including digital dash. Only 70k miles. Will get a lot more out of her as long as I keep the boost down...lol..which is hard to do.

It sounds like it would sound really cool but without balancing and scavenging it just sounds like rapid fire farts :/

just filled up the truck. first time in a while. been sittin lately and gets decent gas mileage.. no complaints here.

took $30 to fill up. 10 gallons. we'll see what kind of mileage I get out of this tank. tracking it this time.

truck drives so nice and is so fun to cruise.. even with its exhaust leak. cant wait to get it all dialed in more. I think the exhaust and a Carb rebuild/tune will be perfect. probably leaving the factory air cleaner alone (especially if I can find the tube from air cleaner to grill).

oh hell yeah! itll take that 13lbs?? thats awesome.

I'm at 10-11 lbs in my Tacoma.

this little 22r is so fun. it will break the tires loose every time. lol not even trying. so light and decent torque.

No, 18lbs. Nice you already have it in tacoma. That's great. Waiting for the 500hp kit that's being tested/developed for the 3rd gen v6. Lol

Yup she full on tricked me. This was taken roughly 50mins after I bought it...

    0910181849.jpg

Luckily I planned on rebuilding it anyway for boost, but initially I was going to run it through the winter as a daily. Oh well, I have buddies with these Z's making over 500hp as dailies so I'm shooting for 425 to be a nice GT car.

I'm jealous of your pickup though, I had one like it for about two weeks in college. Ended up having a friend that needed help and I gave it to her but it was gonna be a little parts runner before I gave it up. That 22r and 4 speed was awesome.

ahh my bad. yep, 18 lbs is definitely better. lol

and 500 for the 3rd gen?? hmmmm... idk about that.. lol

bummer!! That will be a fun build though for sure. I'm going to TRY and stay out of heavy modifications for the mini.. years down the road I would like to swap it. I dont want to mess with trying to boost the 22r. I've seen set ups, and its just not to my liking. I'd rather just swap in a v8 (probably LS) and even leave it N/A for awhile. just a cam or something to make it sound mean in the little truck. lol

Sounds like the truck wasnt abandoned tho.. and was used for a good deed.

The 5 speed in this thing is awesome. cruises great.

Hell yeah brotha! thats awesome! they are out there.. I've seen a couple others floating around locally, but this one just really spoke to me.. and I love the color and factory features.

Its actually already developed and he's testing it on a 2017 Pro. He will have a 400. 500 and 600hp version. Higher versions will need internal work. Direct bolt on. Actual numbers are usually a little lower on kits so I'm guessing 350 450 and 550?
