You can google how to get into that safe if you know what type of safe it is.

For the calm, composed, sort of window smashing thief, that also keeps up with his Straight Talk bill.

I'd hate for someone to smash a window, remember "Locker Down" then come smash my window again. Plus they aren't paying me, I don't need their logo on it.

It only takes a second to reset the combo if you know what you're doing.

This isn’t good for storage, but it’s great for daily driving and tail gaters.

Not allowed on the premises. Not even suppose to have it in the parking lot. I haven been carrying it because I’m undecided on what to do. Legally I’m allowed, but if it’s against their policy and I get caught I can be fire. I’m in a union so not sure if the union would give me any protection against immediate termination. I’d have to ask some union reps and see. Personally I don’t like the idea of keeping it out in my truck during work hours. The property is gated and we do have security. My greatest concern isn’t with it being stolen. It’s more of the environment. It’s the moisture/condensation on the fall/winter months. I’d have that issue with a vehicle too though. Maybe not as bad if I seal the lid and maybe throw some silica packets or something in there

Best bet is to keep your mouth shut, drop in silica packs and be done .Wipe down the gun once a week with oil and it'll be fine.

Or do I keep my mouth shut and leave it in my locker where it’s closer to my person.

In TX the state law says your car is an extension of your home. therefore its OK to keep a gun in your car, even if you arent licensed to carry, and that goes even in your employer's lot whether they allow it or not.
I keep mine in my truck when i am at work and dont worry too much about moisture. If you are worried about that, a monthly gun oil application should be adequate.

It will do you absolutely no good in your locker. If something goes down you should unass the area. You aren't security, don't gum up the works. If there is an active shooter and you go get your gun, you just became a target for LEO.
GTFO of Dodge don't try and be a hero. If something goes down while you have it on you, you can stop a threat immediately. Seeking it out insuran of escaping is a sure fire way to get ventilated by the cops or sent to prison by an over enthusiastic NY DA.

Removed factory bed cover and installed UnderCover Elite. Added LOCKERDOWN console safe.
Have used the Tuffy for 4 years and keep a Glock in there 100% of the time. Was a 26 and now keep a 43.

I guess I’m just not that paranoid.

Anybody that motivated could also google “Tacoma console safe” and quickly determine which of the 2 available safes they are dealing with and then go down the rabbit hole trying to figure out how to crack it.

It’s an extra safety measure, as well as an acceptable measure in some states for legal gun storage.

Why has nobody put a gun magnet in their glove box and just put it there? The glove box locks and you can access it fast
