    @Torspd

    Just got back from the exhaust shop. Same one I've used multiple times for the Tacoma. Quoted me 300 for all new 2.25" cat delete with a 18' Magnaflow and reroute.. but advised against the center exit. He's against them because he says they will make contact or it needed to be gapped enough that it wouldn't, but then would look like shit. I said screw that .. I'll do it myself (I told them I would even have it cut and ready for them) and am having them route it to the center, but then dump it. That way I can go back in and just cut it straight and add a dual tip. Then I'll put a hanger or two right in front of the exit, and the rest of the rubber hangers between the end of the header and there will take up the play. Worst case I use flex tubing in areas too.

    That being said.. think 300 is fair for getting it to that point?

    I've done a mod or two
    Did you go to Scottsdale Muffler, I love those guys and would ask what they think. They did all the super compund bends and new hangers for my cruiser for like $350

    Haven't checked them. This was Mesa Muffler.

    I'm sure the pricing is pretty on par.. just struck me as odd that he wasnt willing.

    I agree with their assessment on the location of the muffler as you had it in the picture. It is fun to play around with it like that, but the actuality of it is exactly as they said. The price point sounds very reasonable. With what I am used to.

    Fair enough. So would you advise against even messing it then? Just leave it dumped? I'm just wanting to figure out if I need to remove the spare so I can run it dead center.. or if I'm not even going to bother.. then I'll leave the spare and route it around it/dump in it's factory location. Taking it in tomorrow at 12:30.

    guess I can always go back to it later and come up with something. I have an idea.. but I'll gather parts and just see what I can come up with over time.

    Get it working right for now. Turn it into art later, like you said. While you're at the exhaust shop and under the truck, you'll really get a good idea of what you're working with, to formulate your future plan.

    Truck is getting the exhaust done now. Also stopped by the wheel shop to put a deposit down on having the new wheels done. Polished lips with copper mesh.

    Just noticed your #safetydevelopment under your name. I gotta get my decal on my truck that @snowtank gave me in his memory.
