EGR in channel installation question (with pics)

So it was super simple to install these vent visors. And they fit like a glove. I just have one question about the bottom of the leading edge of the visor.

It flares out a bit at the bottom most portion of the visor (where the mirror base meets the horizontal weather stripping at the bottom of the window frame). I was wondering if this is normal per the design of these visors.

If someone who has the EGR in channel visors (or knowledge of them) could chime in, I'd really appreciate it. I tried depicting this "flare" with the green line below

 

Mine do that also. Must just be the way they design them for wind deflection or something.

Yep, definitely better than the tape on's. I don't smoke so the sleek design is nice and the deep tint looks good. I have found that since they don't stick out as far, your window must be about visor height or water will blow in when it's raining. Oh, did I mention I paid $10 shipped for mine from Amazon?

 

You should leave your windows up for 24 hours after the install so the set in. I've got them on my 06 Taco and my 03 Scape

My only concern I have with these are: if someone wanted to steal them, it'd take all but 3 seconds to remove them from my truck.

 

Hey dude, whats up with the door handle on the passenger side, it looks baby puke yellow/green on my monitor. Is that the new door handle mod I been hearing about? Is it only on the passenger side, like the other mods on your truck?

 

That is the reflection of the weeds growing in our front yard

And yes, it's only on the passenger side (to keep it real)

Nope... the "madjik mod" is coming soon....

But in keeping with my dog and wife "modding" the truck, it would make sense that my little girl would want to mod it by barfing on the door handle
