    I just installed my standard BHLM + Diode Dynamic DRL Switchback. @no vtec 4me does an awesome job with a great quality product, communication and shipping. If you’re on the fence, do it.

    I know you can do the acrylic to darken the turn signal bucket, but is there a way to darken the high beam bucket and keep it usable?

    In my opinion there’s not an effective way to do that. If you do a retrofit, you can black out your stock high beam bucket since you will gain a high beam in the new projector.

    The one picture is of the amber drl and stock blinker when the 4 way flasher was active. So, under normal driving the amber drl is triggered with the stock blinker bulb.

    As he mentioned with the new projector you can completely black out the high beam. Would look like this.

    Just finished this set up with the smoked turn signal cover. First time I’ve used the smoked acrylic and it came out awesome!

    I like the smoked myself. With a slightly higher powered led bulb you don't lose any light output.

    If they are diode dynamics boards they do not recommend having the amber on all the time. I already cked with them. The ambers are set at something like 200% so will not last very long. But double check as maybe they changed something?
