    That's really easy. You obtain the sensor resistance first and then buy a breakout GM IAT sensor and pigtail harness and test to see if it matches if it does, plumb it in and then get the grommet that is required to run the sensor on the intake. Easy peasy.

    Had a nice first drive after initial install of the beefcake tensioner this morning. Found no notable differences per se, but I wasn't hammering it everywhere either. 21-22 in. hg. at idle unloaded. About 19 in. hg. In drive gear. Nice.

    That's why I said. Check the resistance of the Toyota IAT and then get a GM breakout IAT then compare the resistance. They cost peanuts worth of money. Since Toyota and GM are in bed (apparently Ford as well) the sensors should be the same or have the same resistance.

    Nice!!! I'm all jealous now. Steeda tensioner seems so far away...

    I have removed my mechanical fan and clutch and gone with e-fan. By your previous pictures, the Steeda I have in the mail will fit, however if someone have the belt driven fan, Steeda won't work.

    That's ok. The only mod I've accomplished without grief has been floor mats so far.

    Just want to say that I am very interested in this if we can pull it off. I will see if I can find anything to help you, because if we had a proper iat sensor this would be major for helping tune these motors as well.

    I dont know, like 50 something, but it will vary. That's like the equal to buying bottled water at Safeway for .80 vs buying it at a ball game for $5.89. Lol.

    You should not say that until you put it on. The Steeda should be no different than mine in thickness. Tensioner arm height is determined by belt taughtness, therefore if the belt is too tight on clutch fan driven setups there will be interference at the tensioner arm from the fan clutch.

    It's not an issue of tensioner arm thickness, it's an issue of determined height at final rest.
