Hopefully I remember to take pics tomorrow.
Installed caliraisedled sliders a few days ago. Today I installed the quickfists and put the shovel and axe in the bed.

the designs are a bit different. the 16"s are 8 spoke with one hole per spoke. the 17"s are 6 spoke with 2 holes per spoke. both styles look good.

Thanks for the info. Again, I didn't look that close but nice to know if anyone asks in the future.

With the combination showing on the lock you just turn the knob and the lid springs open. My Serpa holster is rigid mounted to the side of the vault at an angle for easy draw. It's one fluid movement. The person that I hope I never have to draw it on would chit their pants if they saw just how fast I could point this at their vitals. The one drawback of any of the three is that you are limited by size. My PPKS works perfectly mounted to the side. There is a thread for this and this particular way to mount it. You'll have to search but you'll be impressed how clean and well done it is. It will also help you determine what size handgun is feasible to use with the vault. If you are going into a bank, post office or any federal building this will secure your weapon. Sometimes you just have to leave it behind and this is probably among the most secure options. Just some food for thought. Search for that thread it will be worth the effort.

I've got one and love it. Even if they get by my locked BakFlip MX4 they still don't get the tailgate. They ain't cheap but they are well made and much less expensive than a new tailgate. It's a great product!

Man that's great. I could put a couple of Raspberry pi in there with Xbox wireless controllers and screens in the headset.

Load every, NES, SNES, Sega and Atari game ever.

Somehow I believe "Custer's Revenge" would be what everyone checks out first.

So I figured it out. Was a little tired and brain wasn't functioning ...lol. I had it named correct but it wasn't in a "folder". I was trying to install just the JPG that's why it wouldn't read the flash drive. Was racking my brain and it finally came to me. I'll be alright....maybe. :frusty:

I installed the Amp Research Bed Step. They sell 2 models, one for the 05-15 Tacomas, and one for the 16+ (75317-01A). I believe Toyota is selling the original Amp version to fit all models, which it does. I spoke to Amp, and they developed a new bracket to better match the bumper lines on the new trucks. It seems to sit tighter to the bumper. I've got the step in the recommended outward position, although you can shift in in about an 1" or so (but you loose toe clearance to deploy the step). As an older guy, it's a big help getting in the bed. Installation is more difficult then anticipated, as everything should be tight before attaching it to the truck (lesson learned).

No plans on upgrading suspension on the new rig anytime soon and wanted a better tire for off-roading and the winter months than the stockers.
Picked up some 265/75r16 Falken Wildpeak AT3/W’s from Discount Tires eBay store for $497 shipped and had them mounted today.
Also today is my 31st birthday! PARTY ON GARTH!

You can move the lanyard mount post to the other hole, gives you more room to hang the cap.
