Speaking of HF, I picked up their cheap 14" electric chainsaw for that stump I've been working on. Regret not paying that extra 9 bucks for the warranty coverage. Thing died on me after a nearly a week - that plastic transmission I think. Oh well, didn't expect it to live forever given the job I was throwing at it. Took care of more than half of that 23 yr old redwood tree stump before it died. Lowes has an 18" 15 amp Black & Decker planning on picking up later today. Hopefully it will last a little longer than the HF saw. Still, for smaller branches/occasional stump work - that HF saw is a good buy at 39 bones.

 

Mine are still going. But they’re leaking pretty badly. I’m going to replace them before I get an alignment, they’re at 100k.

 

I’d have someone else drill it so I don’t mess it up

 

Oh mine came with the truck, only had it a year or so. I've never changed them. Got 169,000 and change on it.

 

I can, I would just always think it’s crooked or off center

 

When I did the backyard I bought the electric polesaw, it cut yucca tree no issues. But the chain was crap. Went to home depot for a new one and ended up bring home a ryobi 18" gas saw for 100.00 . I would recommend the ryobi for a home saw.

I love Milwaukee, much better than the Dewalts that I had previously. My lil brother has a bunch of M12, I'm fully invested in the M18 line but I do have a M12 ratchet. Which reminds me, my M18 9.0 battery should be arriving today. And M18 grinder on wed.

 

I use my m18 stuff at work.

 

Ok but it'll have to be tomorrow or Monday. My father's birthday today so getting ready for that.

 

My M18 stuff has pretty much replaced all my air tools. Only air tools of mine that i touch these days are the die grinders. The electric die grinders are way too big & no angled ones.

 

Think I’m going to go pick up one of those abrasive tanks to re-do my skid plates that haven’t been on for a year. I can’t go back to the angle grinder after the wonders of abrasive blasting.

 

Electrical ADD is easier.
