X2 on the Cooper STT PRO's On my 2nd set. 1st one's went 33K on my truck and 24 on a second vehicle. Still decent tread. Started gaining LOUD around 40K Good for a mud tire! They balanced great, ride great. 17K into 2nd set. Unbeatable traction in mud and on rocks. Wet road performance FAR exceeds KM's. Outstanding load carrying ability. There will be a 3rd set some day. Best on/off road tire on the market.

NO mud tire will act like a street tread "mall tire". But mud tires don't have to be a nasty experience either.

Mickey's are manufactured by Cooper. Good tire, just slightly better vendor service/warranty service directly from Cooper in my area.

They’re fantastic. They track straight and smooth on road. They’re incredibly supple on road too. I keep mine at about 33psi based on my tread testing and they are seriously smooth and not harsh at all. They’re not even loud to the point where anyone in the truck would notice. Off road they dominate. And they are lighter than almost any other competitor MT and even several AT’s in my size.

Am looking at the 265/75r16 as well and I believe I like the cooper the best as I daily drive mostly highway 50+ miles a day and only go off road ocasionally. I do live in North Carolina so we get a good amount of rain and some snow and ice in winter and that's my main concern. As far as the cooper go have you noticed a drop in mpg? Currently have hankook atm10s at 37lbs ea( the 4s is 41lbs and LT in C load is like 47lbs) that's my biggest question now is which one is best and will the LT impact my mpg any?

So I've had a bunch of these:

Extreme countries = shit in snow, they also don't self clean that great in really sticky mud. They do rocks great.

Toyo At/2s = Okay all around, mine balanced pretty well and wore like iron. I actually changed my 265/75r16s for 255/85s and sold them to a friend and he's still running them. They weren't that great in really slick conditions, and they were really heavy comparatively. All in all I liked them.

BFGs = Shit in snow, again.

Duratracs: Bad belts abound. Bad balancing.

Falkens: I've never had these but everyone that runs ATs that I know absolutely love them. My brother uses them on his jeep, and two coworkers on a Tacoma and Silverado respectively.

I've had Cooper AT/3's on several vehicles. I got 52,000 miles out of a set of 265/75/16's on my Tacoma. I still could have gotten another 3-4K out of them, but it was getting late into November and possible snow so I went ahead and bought new tires. I never had any complaints and fuel mileage was exactly the same. I replaced them with Pirelli's in the same size, also an E rated tire. Only reason for the Pirelli's was because it was a smoking deal. Less than $500 OTD.

I've NEVER noted a difference in fuel mileage between P series and E series tires in the same size and similar tread. It is when you go to a true mud tire that you see fuel mileage drop off.

I have 35,000 miles currently on another set of Coopers on my F-150. Once again, no complaints. But I'm thinking about something more aggressive on the Ford next time.

I will be getting Duratracs when mine wear out.

    a) They are a C Load tire
    b) They have the designated 3 peak snowflake
    c) They always come on sale @ Canadian Tire. If you buy 3, get the 4th free

    No brainer for me.

*** Have been checking out the Pirelli Scorpions from Costco, that are also C Load & 3 Peak snowflake design.

Why not the Michelin Defender A/T as a choice? They are one of top rated tires in all categories.
