Quick snapshot of how my AZT weekend ended at mile 3.5

Dude! What happened???

 

Not really sure rolled it pretty good at the end of Passage 1, but it seemed fine. Got a bit sore last weekend like tendonitis. KT tape seemed to help but at mile 2.3 I reached down to re tie my non hurt side right shoe. Something happened at that point in my left ankle where i could barely put pressure on it. Was a long limp the final 1.5 miles to Kentucky Camp where thankfully my buddy was waiting cause he wanted to check out the site. Iced it there for 20 min no good and not smart/safe to push any further where actual rescue becomes more and more likely. Called it a day decided to take the truck back up passage 4 and camp for a night to see if it got better. It did not. I fear I tore a tendon but not really sure other than not broken.

On the plus side found a nice site just above a running creek below Mt Wrightson

 

Sucks man! I have a Sublexed Peroneal tendon. Ankles suck. Go see a doctor and get her checked out!

Truck looks awesome man! What all did you get done to it this last time?

 

Thank you buddy! This time around I did a few things. I installed onboard air in the cubby in the rear, the lift is now installed, dual battery under the hood, 4.88 gears and I just had the wheels and tires mounted. I’m really happy with how it turned out. I have my skids and rock rails in my garage. I am going to throw those on this week.

 

I’ll trade you stocks off the OR for yours plus a bj let me know.
