Came across. DCLB 3rd gen today @ Lowes in Ware with OMEs, the nice ones... dude seemed cool, considering the weather is shit....

And the fact that Mog is outta Hampden, might explain why I'm sure I've seen it before.

It's not too bad for me since we run 2 man teams. Lived out of that thing for quite a while. The inside is a little different compared to other variants. The good idea fairy went crazy on our EOD version.

Also I lived in Hampden up until 2015 and had never seen Mog. I wish I had seen that beast. I second having a meet and inviting that thing.

I wish. But the Cummins paired with an Allison transmission puts out a good amount of power to get it going...when it isn't broken...which it is a lot

The problem is we got them "brand new" but they actually sat at a depot for 6 years. So all the rubber seals are shot and the turbos were gummed up. When we first got them we couldn't get past 35 mph on flat ground, 8 mph on any incline. We finally got new turbos and actually got the things up to 70 mph flat out but the transmission and drive seals would blow and piss fluid everywhere. Right now mine is in the shop for a slew of random stuff but also a check engine light which sends the truck into limp mode. The ones we have just always seem to have a problem. Hopefully when mine gets fixed it should be all set. This is why I laugh when people say stuff is military grade. To me that means it sucks haha. Just stupid marketing.

ahhh....yeah. That doesn't work to have them sit there and expect that everything will work.

That's the Army in its infinite wisdom. It would be fine if they had been being used because there is stuff that just needs lubrication by driving. Those seals would have been fine but sitting and not getting any oil on them screwed them. But even with all that I still love my truck. It's nice to be able to sleep in the back when needed and I love driving it. It's got all the locking diffs as well haha
