I smoked the clutch so bad it was billowing out and I fully expected the truck to burst into flames. The smoking eventually stopped. Now the clutch isn't slipping and feels solid but the clutch pedal requires twice the pressure. What's broken? I'm not a moron and I know what I'm doing, and by that I mean I know was going to break something but it was an emergency. Please be gentle

It's safe to assume the pressure plate (the spring that holds the clutch to the flywheel) is damaged, likely forks aren't releasing properly due to damage.

I would have it inspected or replaced soon than later, this way you can have the flywheel machined, any further driving may damage the flywheel past the point of simple resurfacing.

Speed record for rock crawling uphill in a torrential downpour while my buddy was holding his nearly severed hand. Small, medium boulders, ledges, mud, a lot of water and blood everywhere. It was like Newman trying to run the winch. Not a good day.

It was a trail ive done for years but I only go down this rock part, the trail exits to a main road so I never attempted to go up or, never wanted to try. Problem is the storm we were in took a tree down blocking the trail about a 100 yds past the rocks. Chainsaw comes out. You ever do that one handed chainsaw swing thing...well I guess neither did he, he misses his target by far and hits his arm like he was aiming for it. He went straight through his radius and everything in between. A tooth of the chain got stuck halfway through his ulna. We couldn't get it off due to all of his whining. I was smashing the chain with something I dont even remember, a rock i guess, my mind was trying not to make memories of this shit. I managed to break the chain loose and hes standing there spraying blood everywhere as chunks of his arm are falling to the floor in the pouring rain like a horror movie with about a foot of chain dangling off his arm and hes just staring at me. I did the only thing I could think of and zip tied the shit out of his arm and threw a bungee cord on it, it stopped spurting. We got in the truck and thats when I proceed to break everything. We met an ambulance about five miles away. Truck is still in the mountains and 6 hours later hes still in surgery.
